Imaginary Holes
2026. Sound Performance (30m).
Custom electronic controller and computer (Max/MSP).
Imaginary Holes is a sound piece performed on a custom sound controller and software.
Throughout the performance, the mapping between physical input and audio output continually shifts. While there is a visible connection between physical action and sound, the precise relationship is left unclear.
The object is a sound controller reduced to its minimum. Light and shadow cast across the controller’s white surface highlight the movements of the hands. The sound is a minimalist drone narrative built from elementary electronic synthesis, oscillators and filters, and silences.
